Windows 10: State of Decay 2, mouse lag/freeze when moving even on menu.

I got this game last year but I quited after a while of bored, I was able to play it with max setting and no issue at all, not even single crash as I recall.
Recently my friend bought this game too, and I decide to join him but I'm having a mouse freeze issue, been google for hours and adjusting following any game/mouse guide, without fix.

It only freeze/lag when I move my mouse, even on menu.
I tested it by loading a saved and moving around jumping running driving fighting whatever I can do I did it, no lag no fps drop if I didnt move the mouse.

But once I touch the mouse, it freeze/lag for 0.5-2 second.

*I tried to change the sync to fast in NVIDIA control panel, but no obviously improvement.
*One of a guide pointing out about higher mouse HZ can cause this, but I check my mouse was only 125hz so I doubt it.
*I found quite a lot of this issue but non of them are SoD2, I even tried their method.

Please share if you know how to fix this, thanks for reading.

State of decay 2

so yesterday i just bought state of decay 2 fir my xbox one bur for some reason one boot up it freezes how can i fix it?

State of Decay 2 preload

Hey,

I couldn't quite figure it out either. When I first downloaded via MS Store, it completed a small download (Around 20mb) and seemed to install the State of Decay icon in the Start Menu.

Whenever I would launch that it would come up with an alert stating that "You're trying too early".. but it never fully downloaded the game content.

I went and tried again tonight and looked under "Downloads and Updates" within Microsoft store (top right corner click on the ***. Then clicked on State of Decay 2 in the list, and on the SoD2 page that comes up, there was a button that said "Update".

Clicked on that, and now its downloading the game content (18gb+).

Hi Ryan,

Having a corrupted Xbox profile is one of the possible reasons it keeps freezes when you are accessing the game State of Decay 2. To help you resolve this concern, I recommend that you perform the steps below:

Step 1: Remove your profile on the Xbox One:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > Account
   > Remove accounts.
3. Select the account you want to remove (the one that’s experiencing the gameplay issue), and then select
   Remove.

Step 2: Clear Mac address:

1. Scroll left on the Home screen to open the Guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select Network.
5. Select Network settings.
6. Select Advanced settings.
7. Select Alternate MAC address.
8. Select Clear.
9. Select Restart. Access the game again and check if the same instance occurs.
   

Step 3: Re-add your profile on your Xbox One:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select
   Add new.
3. Type in the email address and password that you use to access your Microsoft account (the same account that you just removed).
