Windows 10: Failure to Update to 1903

Updating to Windows 1903, failure details: 0x1900101

UX failure: Whilst powering up the PC, the PC freezes at the logo (razer). Have to restart multiple times, Automatic repair rolls back the update.

Indicative of Driver Failure. Reset to factory, and update. Same failure.
Updated all Drivers and then attempt Windows Update: Same failure.
Attempt to clean install with the newest Windows dist. (1909) from a bootable USB: Failure occurs upon attempting to install from bootable USB - freezing on logo screen. Additional Info: Disabled Secure Boot in attempt to install.

Have run sfc.exe /scannow - No issues detected
Have run dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth - No issues detected


Able to provide WindowsUpdateLog. Unsure how to attach the file.

WIndows 10 SECOND_BOOT failure updating to 1903

It was impossible to tell from your initial post whether you could even get into Windows because of all the failure you described. Therefore to be absolutely thorough I gave you how to recover if you couldn't get Windows started.

I also included the check list for overcoming version failures which works from for 90% of those who try the steps.

Please confirm you tried all steps in that check list which works for 90% of the tens of thousands of people who I have helped while building that list. If not then I will continue to help you until the matter is resolved as long as you are polite and cooperative.

 

Cannot update to 1903

O_O thats a lot of steps. Starting in a few mins. Quick question though:
You list a set of instructions for "Windows 10 iso as an in place upgrade repair" with links, and then you included a box for "Routine troubleshooting steps" with 13 steps including links.

Which should I be following first?

PLEASE don't hate me for asking this as this just occurred to me. Should I try the update in Safe mode? I downloaded the MediaCreationTool 1903, but it wasn't successful in doing the update, nor was it successful in creating Usb install.

If I understand correctly, in simple terms, you are suggesting changing the path/method of obtaining the 1903 update but still installing it anyway -

Surely if the problem is actually with the 1903 update then the result will be the same problems irrespective of how it is applied?

Please could you clarify in simple terms, step by step, what your suggested actions actually do and how this may solve the problem.
