Windows 10: Activation problem - STdwellers - 'you don't have a valid digital license or product key'

I purchased a Win 10 Pro 64-bit license a couple of years ago from a company listed here on the Microsoft site as a Solution Provider:

The license was installed in a VM and ran fine. I'd like to move it to a physical machine. I installed Win 10 on the physical machine and it runs but won't activate telling me "We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a valid digital license or product key." The error code is 0xC004C003. It tells me to troubleshoot which I do but it tells me to go purchase a new license.


I contacted STdwellers. They say it's a multiple install problem and will sell me a new license (or clear up the multiple install issues) for $19.95.


QUESTIONS:

1) Is STdwellers a valid, legal company have purchased from or was I scammed.


2) Assuming positive responses to question 1 how does one clean up Microsoft thinking I've installed too many times. I only intend to run this license on one machine.

No valid digital license/Product Key

Just bought a desktop off amazon the computer prompted me to activate windows i went to do so and got (Error code: 0x0C004Coo3) the message that came with it talks about no valid digital license/Product Key

 

Changing from Digital License to Product Key

I have got my windows with a digital License. My college has provided me with product key for windows 10 for education purposes. If I activate that key, will my digital License be still valid for a later use?

I downloaded the product key software to view the product key of my device then I entered the product key to activate windows, then the error message 0x803FA067 and content could not activate windows on this device because you don
't have a valid product key or digital license.
If you think you do have a valid license in key select troubleshoot below even though I have troubleshoot many times
