    mp3's in windows 10 stopped working


    I was wondering if anyone could help me, i was listening to music then media player came up with a message stating it could not play the file. Now it will not play any of my mp3 files on multiple hard drives. i have even installed winamp and it will not play any of my files either? does anyone have any suggestions?

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    MP3's stopped working correctly.


    Go to:
    Control Panel\Programs\Default Programs\Set Associations
    Select the .mp3 extension
    Press the Change program... button, and see if you can fix it from here
