    I rec'd. a call telling me I would be charged $399 if I did not pay to update my security, firewall, etc. Of course barely spoke English, and I told her to send me an email because I couldn't understand her. She got snotty and told me I had two options and one was to get on my computer, etc. I hung up. The number was 833-993-1917

    Is there a scam about Windows Firewall having expired and that 299.99 was being charged to a Visa card?

    Ms tech support is it a scam?

    I have been scammed by a Outlook tech and his crew of scammers. I would like to report this to someone in Microsoft. Who and how do I do this? Fortunately for me I started to realize this was a scam AFTER I gave out my credit card number, however, called
    my bank and they are not paying out the charges of $399. The number the scammers are using is: 888-516-7415.

    Hello, I received a message on my computer (looks like it was from Microsoft. It ask me to call a number (888) 496-4248 to resolve a possible Virus/keylogger. I always have my Windows protector on and updated. Does Microsoft charge $500.00 for a special
    firewall with a 2year support? or was this a scam? When I received a call back the person who claims to be an employee of Microsoft it was (917) 284-6123. can any help? Thanks
