Windows 10: New PC installation

I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW HP SLIMLINE DESKTOP. IT HAS ALL THE GOODIES I NEED PLUS WINDOWS 10. I TOOK IT OUT OF THE BOX AND SHOWED IT IT'S NEW HOME. I PROCEDED TO CONNECT THE CABLE TO MY MONITOR (TV). THEN THE HDMI CABLE. THE POWER CORD WAS NEXT. ALL SET. HERE WE GO!! I SET THE INPUT ON THE TV TO RGB-PC AND TURNED THE 'PUTER. STARING ME IN THE FACE IS A BLACK SCREEN WITH A SMALLER BLUE SCREEN IN THE MIDDLE. IT SAYS BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND, PLEASE INSTALL OS ON HARD DISK, HARD DISK (3FO), F2 SYSTEM DIAGNOSTICS. SO, F2 IT IS. MEMORY TEST PASSED. STORAGE TEST-NO STORAGE INSTALLED. HARD DRIVE CHECK-NO HARD DRIVE INSTALLED. PLEASE CHECK THAT THE POWER AND DATA CABLES ARE CONNECTED PROPERLY. WHAT DID I MISS???

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

PC Build Steps

Ok just because I like steps i am going to create some steps. Please give me the stamp of approval/disapproval

• Install system in case
  • Remember to connect SSD and optical to same SATA ports on motherboard
• Turn on PC
• setup HDD
• run blend test in prime95 for 30-60 min
  • run realtemp at the same time

• While in Prime95 test
  • if CPU goes above 70c in RealTemp, I have a leaky CPU
  • if my system locks up or blue screens, there is an instability in the system somewhere
  • if my system does not lock up or blue screen, my CPU is not damaged and I am in the clear!

What do you guys think??

 

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
