    Windows icons don't show but the names do


    Hi recently when I turned on my computer to get some work done I realised that all the icons on my computer are blank. I tried to find a resolution for this but they were all if they were completely missing or completely white. I have included two examples so you fully understand my problem.

    The first example is my desktop which was completely fine yesterday and the second is File Explorer


    If someone has a fix for this it would be greatly appreciated

    Remove Linux Desktop Icons

    I am not sure whether this will work (Ubuntu does not have icons like that on the desktop by default), but I suggest opening the trash bin and sweeping the icons into the window showing the trash bin.

    Thanks, have heard this before...is their a step by step procedure to OC using the bios settings you suggest.
    i don’t intend pushing this to its limit...but some increase would be great, any suggestions on a good air cooler ?
