I've noticed this defect in 1903+, including the current 2004 build 19037. Easy way to reproduce this bug with snap assist/aero snap is to use maximized windows explorer windows.

    1. Open two explorer windows and maximize them.
    2. Press win key+arrow to snap the first window. Snap assist will not appear and the snapped window will be pushed above the desktop boundary by a few rows of pixels. You have to press win+arrow again to align it or click the titlebar's top when the arrow appears. Or,
    3. Two maximized windows, drag one to the left or right by the title bar and it will align properly and SA will appear but the other window when clicked in the assist will not align/snap properly just like step 2.

It works perfectly in 1809 and older.

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

    Thanks again!!

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I ran SeaTools. These are the results:

Does it mean my HDD is useless?

    Snap Assist

    Hi Cory,

The Snap Assist allows you to juggle apps, arrange open windows, resize windows by simply dragging and dropping them to the edges of the screen. If you don't want to get a quarter screen snap, you can change the settings of Snap Assist by follow the steps below:

    • Open the Settings app
    • Click System.
    • Click Multitasking.
    • You can turn off some of the option of Snap Assist on this window.

If you want to disable Snap Assist, you can turn off Arrange windows automatically by dragging them to the sides or corners of the screen.

Should you have further queries, feel free to post it.

Windows 10 Snap Assist Not Working Properly

I'm running Windows 10 with the latest updates. The Snap Assist multitasking features are a bit dodgy. The issues appear intermittently, and are as follows:

    • When I snap a window, Snap Assist does not show me what I can snap next to it. This is despite me having several other apps open, and the relevant option ticked in the 'MULTITASKING' part of system settings.
    • When I show two windows side by side (one window snapped to the left side of the screen, a second window snapped to the right side), the central divider that can be moved to adjust both windows simultaneously does not appear.
I have tried resizing, re-snapping and moving the windows to no avail. The divider does not appear, and the windows have to be adjusted individually.

These are the settings I'm using.
