Windows 10: Can't sign in to Windows 10...get blue screen with language option

I haven't seen this one anywhere on the internet... I have a 4 year old Dell Inspiron 5559 that came with Windows 10 already installed. When I turn on the machine I get the keyboard language option screen. I select US and it goes to the Troubleshoot Screen. I then chose Troubleshoot and Start Up Repair, but it could not repair. I tried to Restore to all the earlier dates, and it said it worked, but when I went to restart, it failed. I tried going to the Dos Prompt and doing a Chkdsk, and it did not show any issues. I am beside myself trying to figure out what to do next... please help...I'm not sure if I need to do something with the BIOS...I've also tried all the other things on the internet such as shutting down the computer three times in a row...










I'm not sure what the "Failed to transfer logged messages to the event long with status 50 means...

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.
• Sign out and then sign back in to finish.
