    Slow Loading and executing programs


    My pc began to slow down shortly after the update at the beginning of December 2019. It continued until yesterday when the system would not open a program or icon. I originally thought that my MS Office 2016 programs were corrupted since I could not get Outlook to open. I did an online repair, however, still the problem exists





    I am running Windows 10 Pro. I have a custom built pc with an Asus Motherboard Z170-AR with 12 GB Memory, 1 TB Samsung SSD and 3 internal Seagate Hard drives. These drives have been scanned for errors and nothing found.





    I have ran the Scan SFC, Chkdsk /r, and DISM/ONLINE/CLEANUP/RESTOREHEALTH.





    I have also scanned the system with Windows Defender, Malwarebytes and ADWCleanere to detect any viruses or malware.


    None were found.





    I am now at a loss as to what is causing this problem.





    Anyone have an idea?

    Constant script errors and slow loading pages in 10 internet explorer 11

    I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

    Hi,

    We would like to know more about the issue. Please
    clarify the following:

    • Is the issue limited to newly downloaded programs, or does it happen to all other programs?
    • Did you make any changes on your computer before the issue started?

    In the meantime, we suggest that
    you start your PC in safe mode and see if you will still get the same result when
    running new programs. You may refer to this
    linkfor guidelines and steps.

    antimalware Service executable slowing tab load in Chrome

    Recently Chrome browser has been impossibly slow to load new tabs and pages. Sometimes it would take 10 - 15 seconds just for the page to begin loading. Checking in on Task Manager, this is the exact amount of time that Antimalware Service Executable is
    topping the list of CPU usage, leading me to believe that ASE is checking out the links before allowing the browser to access the links.

    While I appreciate the concern that ASE is showing for my computers well being, I have a short attention span and anger issues and am likely to bash in my monitor the next time it takes more than a blink to load my Facebook so I can distract myself with cat
    memes and stupid human Vine compilations.

    Is this normal behavior for ASE, and if not, can it be corrected? If it is normal behavior, WHAT THE F@$%# ARE YOU THINKING MICROSOFT!!!

    Sorry, that's my patience running out. I just tried to check Email....
