Windows 10: Need help uninstalling RAL file

I installed an application to try to open an .RAL file a client sent me. It was supposed to be a data file but when I tried to open it I got the error "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app, or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps control panel."


I researched and installed a trail version of WinRail, because my searches found that's the application that creates .ral files. I got the same error that I mentioned above. Then I tried to uninstall WinRail. I got the same error I mentioned above.


I tried uninstalling it from both the Add or Remove Programs and from the uninstall file in the WinRail directory. I get the same error (again, above). I searched for a solution but there's not much there.

I just wanted a clean uninstall rather than deleting files, then removing whatever's related in the registry. I don't want to know how to open the file. I found out that it's actually a .csv file that I can open and save in Excel.

Cannot uninstall Free Sound Recorder v10.7.1 Type 32 bit HELP!

I have an HP laptop with Windows 10 installed Version number 1903 and I think it is 64 bit. I installed the above program 2 months ago and I want to uninstall it.
I tried the many suggestions provided here:
Uninstall and Remove Free Sound Recorder 8.2.3 Step by Step
except the last suggestion but none of them worked.
The last suggestion tells you to download a third party uninstaller and tells you to click on a link which I do not know I can trust. I have however tried installing Revo uninstaller 2.1.0 free version and even this program could not uninstall the program. The message is always the same

C\Program Files(86x)\Free Sound Recorder\unins000.dat" does not exist. Cannot uninstall.

Will installing bitdefender antivirus program get rid of it?
PLEASE HELP.

 

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

1. I tried using the troubleshooter but it didn't list the WinRail application. It gave me a list and asked me to choose which application to uninstall. I chose Not Listed. Then it asked for a product ID. I didn't have one because I had not purchased
it - I was evaluating it. So it let me go no further. It will not continue without a product ID.

2. As I mentioned in my first note, I already tried to uninstall it from the uninstall file in the WinRail directory. I got the same error that I did when I used add/remove programs:
"This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app, or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps control panel."

The reason I downloaded the WinRail app in the first place was to open an .RAL file sent to us from a client. It should have been a data file but I had nothing to open it. All I could find was WinRail (where I could use a free demo...all of the other apps
cost something but they were all also model train design apps like WinRail). I talked to someone today who said that an .RAL file is used for extra compression on very large files. I asked if they meant .RAR and they said no. What do you know about .RAL
files? Thanks again.
