Windows 10: Unsupported timing/ resolution during windows installation

Dear experts,


Im installing windows 10 from usb hard disk and my pc says,


The current input timing is not supported by the monitor display. Plwase change your input timing to 1440x900@60Hz or any other monitor listed timing as per the monitor specifications.


Pc is Hp compaq Elite 8300sff with Dell 1909Wb screen.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Screen Resolution too big

Firstly, try to install all the available Windows Updates and check if it fixes the issue.

I suggest you to change the screen resolution settings and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key and type Change Screen Resolution and click on the option listed.
• Under resolution try changing the resolution settings.

Also try to install the latest drivers from the manufacturer website and check.

Resolution for Windows 10 Installer on HiDPI screen

Method 1:
I suggest you to try change the screen resolution on your system according to your feasibility.

• Right click on the desktop.
• Select Graphics Options.
• choose the minimum resolution and check if it helps.

If Method 1 doesn't help, try Method 2.

Method 2:
I suggest you to uninstall the graphics driver for sometime while you use the Windows 10 installer. you can use the advanced options through USB on low resolution and then enable the drivers after installation and set the resolution according to your convenience.

refer the below steps:

1. Press “Windows Key + X, select Device manager

2. Right click on the graphics drivers and select “Uninstall”.

3. Restart the computer after installation and download the latest drivers from manufacturer website.
