    File Explorer Doesn't Show Up in Cortana Search


    I have a user in my organization that is having a problem with File Explorer. Before, she would be able to use the Cortana search bar, type in a few letters leading to File Explorer, and it would usually pop up as the top result. Now, it shows 7-Zip File Manager and File Explorer is no longer shown in the Top Apps section of the Cortana search either.

    The only workaround I've tried is to press the Windows Key + E together to open it. I've went to Task Manager to restart Windows Search and File Explorer momentarily popped up as a result, but reverted back to the 7-Zip File Manager result.


    I'd appreciate as much advice as possible. Thanks!

    Cortana doesn' t replie to me. She just search on bing everything I say. What I have to do to solve this problem?

    I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

    I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

    File Explorer Search Not Working


    I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.
