Windows 10: Can't detect files in a folder after updating to 1909

After updating into ver. 1909, whenever I connect my phone to my PC via USB cable, my PC cannot detect files especially medias in certain folders in my phone and came up with "This folder is empty" after loading the folder for few seconds. After that, when I refresh the page, File Explorer got stuck for a while and then it says my phone SD card is empty, or sometimes both phone memory and SD card empty. But everything in the phone is still there after I disconnect them. The same problem occurred too back when I updated into ver. 1903, and I ended up rolling back to ver. 1809. And everything went fine like before.

I often transfer files from my phone to PC via USB cable so I see this problem a big issue for me. I would like to know more about this issue before I roll back into ver. 1809 again.

Below I attached screenshots of what's happening whenever I connect my PC to my phone to transfer files especially medias. And I notice it doesn't have problems loading folders with less than hundred files but it became like that when I open folders containing thousands of files and there were no issues like this in ver. 1809.

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.

Here's the steps to update EMUI 4.1.1 to 5.0 :

• Download the EMUI 5.0(desired version) .zip file, and unzip it.
• Place the .hwt file in the HWThemes folder from your phone.
• Using the Themes app, apply the new theme.
• Restart the phone, in order to see all the new changes.
