  1. my Windows 10 and broken hardisk(physically)

A couple of months ago i received a laptop as a gift. a brand new one. it came with windows 10 already attached, however an accident happened that resulted in the HDD on said laptop to be broken/dislodged. i have bought a new HDD.

    My Question's are:

Do i have to transfer my license?

-if so is there any procedure i can do?

Becouse i watched a video on youtube that says "windows generate a identifier based on your computer hardware that they store on they're server's"

and i read one of this forum's thread's that i could turn a usb storage device(flashdisk) into a usb boot device. and if i use said usb boot device would it install windows 10 and keep the license on my new hdd drive?

i have no idea what to do

    Thanks

    -Me

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
