Windows 10: Dont know if I can post this here, Windows 10 Lenovo 15 arr stuck in safe mode with no...

Long story short I have had my laptop for a year and lost the charger for a couple of months. When I found my charger I plugged in and realized my laptop was chugging really hard so I wanted to do a reset, I proceeded to do a reset and the "PC is resetting" text got stuck at 43-ish percent. I left it overnight and woke up and it was in sleep mode but when i powered it on it said login to other user, but it didn't give me the option to create a user, so I tried to reset again and it got stuck at 43 percent and didnt move for ~ 3 hours, so I took a nap. I wake up and it's in sleep mode again, and it also loads into login to other user without giving me an option to create a user again, so I boot into safe mode through the recovery options not msconfig.

I load in and it auto logs into the on-board admin account I have not experienced it happen like that before but I load in and I'm met with a black screen, with no applications on the taskbar and only an empty recycle bin, there is also an error message saying

"Location path is not available" "C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile- \Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted.

I also can't open the start menu I can only right click the taskbar and use the windows + r key to run cmd but if I try to run anything I get an error saying explorer.exe is unavailable I tried to run msconfig with windows + r command but it only says device is not ready, I tried the bcdedit command to attempt to get out of safe mode but it gives me either access denied or parameter incorrect.

I'm now at a dead end and need someone else's assistance I'm in CNT and IT courses if that's any help, I don't know if this is the result of malware or some other infection if it is i haven't seen it this bad before.

Also if I do a clean install do I keep my product key, tried this: wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey but to no avail, any help is greatly appreciated

Stuck in safe mode in windows 10

Safe mode is intended to help fix most, if not all problems within an operating system, it's not good if we got stuck on it. To correct this, we suggest that you follow the steps below to exit out of Safe mode:

• Open Run command by pressing Windows key + R
  keys on the keyboard and type msconfig in the command box and press
  Enter.
• Under General tab, put a check on Normal Startup option.
• Reboot the system and check if the changes are effective.

Let us know if you are able to exit out of Safe mode with these steps.

I am stuck in Safe Mode in spite of following all the suggested steps to go back to Normal Startup - Like opening file location of msconfig.exe & running as Administrator. The computer I am trying to get out of safe mode has just been updated from Windows 7.
