    DVD burn speed.

I bought an ASUS 16x 3.0 external Blu Ray player/burner. The issue I am having is that Windows 10 built in burner does not indicate the speed that the burner is running at. I also tried Nero, but that also does not indicate speed. Does anyone know of an app that does show speed?

    Gort

    :)

    Burn Movie to DVD

Hi elizhoff, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

Firstly, I'd suggest trying to burn the DVD at a lower speed. The software you're using to burn the DVD should give you speed options, such as 2x, 4x and so on.

If that doesn't work, I'd suggest trying other burner software.

Here's an option from the Microsoft Store:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/express-burn-...

Please let me know if you need further support! Thanks!
