Windows 10 hard periodic power cycles; no event viewer events

My Windows 10 desktop started power cycling itself during light use. No event viewer events to mark trouble at the point of losing power. I could use some help isolating. Details below....

    System Characteristics:

    - Custom build about 1.5 years old since last hardware change
    - Gigabyte mobo
    - i7 7700 3.6GHz
    - 32 GB RAM
    - EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070
    - 750w modular power supply

    Condition:

About after 5-10 minutes of light use browsing maps or on social media, the workstation loses power and reboots itself hard reset. It happens so fast that Windows does not get a chance to capture an event. The only applicable entries in the event viewer state "Windows was not properly shut down; the previous system shutdown at 00:00:00 AM on 1/16/2020 was unexpected."

Condition began the day after this Microsoft update: "9NMPJ99VJBWV-Microsoft.YourPhone" that was applied on 1/4/2020. This update is not a removable update handles license keys?. Not sure if related.

    Troubleshooting steps taken so far:

    - checked perfmon/event viewer - nothing notable
    - ran Windows Update - current
    - checked Intel drivers - current

Suspected power issues from power strip plugged into new APC UPS
    - replaced power cord with heavy gauge 13a
    - plugged power directly into wall instead of APC UPS or surge protector
    - ran power troubleshooter

    Suspected OS-related
    - sfc /scannow - nothing found
    - clean boot - condition still exists
    - updated graphics drivers - w/ clean boot - condition still exists
    - tried multiple browsers FF, Edge - condition exists
    - safe mode - condition exists

    :)

I have a critical warning on my event viewer relating to Kernel-Power, also a list of other errors. How do I remove these threats? I am running Windows 10.
