Windows 10: Help with switching windows 10 licenses around on multiple computers

I have two laptops, one is older and has windows 10 professional and the newer one has windows 10 home. I'd like to deactivate the older one going to use a linux based system on it instead and transfer the professional license to the newer laptop. Then I would like to install and activate the 10 home license on my custom desktop computer that has no activated license yet. Both my windows 10 licenses are connected to my microsoft account.


So my question is... how should I go about doing activations/installations on which computers and in what order? Thanks in advance for your help!

So, if someone already have windows 7 original and also win 10 insider installed, is that person going to end up with two licenses? I think this is a nice way to get multiple licenses in case you have multiple computers, not just one or two win 10 licenses (not necessarily all computers run Win 7 or latter).

Follow either of these steps to fix the issue with the Active window hiding behind.

Method 1:
I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows key + X key and click on Control Panel.
2. Select or click Ease of Access.
3. Click or tap onEase of Access Centre.
4. Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
5. Check if issue is resolved.

Method 2:
I would suggest you to completely uninstall the touchpad driver and reinstall it. Kindly follow the below given steps.

1. Press “Windows key + X” and click on “Device Manager”.
2. In the list of devices, you should see the touchpad drivers.
3. Right click on the device and then select "Uninstall".
4. In the uninstall dialog, make sure you select the option to delete the driver package from the system. This causes the driver package installed earlier to be deleted.
5. In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes” option. This will cause the device driver to be reinstalled. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.

 

Windows 10 upgrade license

Hello guys,

I have 1 license of WIndows 8.1 FPP/retail license. I want to upgrade to WIndows 10, but I one thing is unclear to me.
If I upgrade, will WIndows 10 license be retail or it will "turn" into some sort of OEM license?

I ask this because I upgrade my PC, you know, more memory, replace HDD, and I intend to upgrade the MB and CPU to Kaby Lake platform sometime in the future, (and of course sell the replaced hardware)
This thing is not clearly mentioned anywhere.
