Windows 10: Windows 10 initial setup included incorrect email addy

When new computer was being setup I typed my email address incorrectly. MS accepted it even though it is not my email address. My phone is attached to the incorrect user name/email addy. I have tried to simply change the user name to the correct email addy. MS won't allow.


Have tried to rename the Administrator. Nope. Added an Administrator but won't allow the phone number to be tied to the 'other' Admin.


Total frustration.


I don't want to be forced to start all over. Thanks for any help.

Mail in Windows 10 - incorrect email address suggestion

When I create a new message and start to type an address a list of suggestions pops up. The top one is incorrect and I want to delete it but it does NOT appear in my contacts. How can I get rid of it?

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

Thank you for the additional information. We suggest that you follow these steps to manage your email profile:

• Open Outlook 2016 app.
  
• Click on File.
• Go to Account settings drop down.
• Select Account Settings...
• Go to Email tab.
• Click Change... Here is where you can manage or edit your email profile.
