Windows 10: Odd volume issue

I've got a strange little big on my user on my pc. This doesn't happen on the second user, it works as intended.

When I use keyboard shortcuts the volume bar popup appears in the top left and changes as expected, moves up, down, mutes. But it doesn't actually control the volume. The master volume stays the same unless I drag the slider from the taskbar.

Trying to search volume issues is only giving me generic audio troubleshooting, like the buttons not working at all.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

type in list volume..... your array volume should come up.... if so

type in Select volume 7
assign

1. After opening the game, right click on the sound icon in the taskbar and select "open volume mixer".

2. If the particular game is listed, turn down the volume and check the result.
