Normally if you try to copy a list of files in a folder to another folder, and some of those files already exist, it will ask you if you want to replace/skip/copy. When my destination is an external drive however, it doesn't do that - it acts like the end result is going to be the size of the files on the drive + ALL the files I'm copying over, therefore not enough space... but there is enough space if it just skips the files already there.

Hopefully I explained that clearly enough. What can I do?

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one

    Copying movie to Flash Drive

    Hi Todd,

One way on how to save and move files to a flash drive is by using the File Explorer in Windows 10. To assist you with your concern, to save your movie file to a flash drive, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Connect your USB flash drive to your PC.
    • Navigate to the folder or location where you save your movie files.
    • Right-click on the movie file and select
      Copy
      .
    • Right-click on the Start menu, and select
      File Explorer.
    • On the left-pane, double-click on This PC.
    • Double-click on the drive letter that correspond to your USB flash drive.
    • Right-click and select Paste.
    • Wait for the process to complete the transfer.
