Windows 10: Duplicate Songs

All of my music is duplicated. When I put songs in the playlist area in Media Player, there are always two copies. My music is stored in OneDrive. If I delete the songs from the list, they still come back the next time I play them random playlist, not a saved playlist. Does anyone know why this is happening.

I understand that you have an issue with duplicate songs on your SD card within Windows Phone 8.1. If you have tried all steps from those threads:

I would suggest format SD card as next step and then sync your songs via Windows Phone app or drag and drop them into SD card.

Duplicate songs on my phone

I get duplicate (and some times triple) songs on my HTC Win8 phone when I copy songs from my computer to my phone. Usually I plug my phone into the USB of my desktop and after the window comes up I navigate to the
music folder then open a window on my desktop, select the folder I want to copy and drag it to the HTC. When I open the music app on the phone then navigate to the album SOMETIMES I get duplicates. I have tried to delete the entire album from the "Album" list
as well as the entire folder from the "Music" list and recopying it but I still get duplicates. Note. There are no duplicates in the music folder just in the songs list or any place that the individual songs are listed. This, of course, makes the song play
once for each time it is listed. And, although I like the songs, it gets old playing the two or three times when I hit play.



In "Settings" I have....

Connect with Xbox... OFF

Xbox Music cloud collection... Off

Now playing on Xbox... Off



Any ideas to delete the duplicate displays so a song does not play twice?
