Windows 10: Can't close Audio Pop-up menu mix/voice

This pop-up menu starting popping up a few days ago. Can't seem to find anyway to close it out. I've restarted my computer, shut it down completely - but every time i turn it back on - withing around 30 minutes it pops up again. What's really annoying is the menu stays in front of any other window and I can't seem to move it. I tried searching in google, but haven't found any help. Hopefully someone here knows, how to get rid of this things - it's driving me crazy. Thank you

Audio popping from videos and voice chat software


As the description says, I am getting some audio popping/crackling from internet videos (html5, flash etc.) and voice chat programs like skype or razer comms. I play a lot of games and there doesn't seem to be any popping into game audio. I will say that I've been looking into some common problems with this issue and I can say that my video card driver, network card driver, BIOS are all up to date as these are known to be common culprits of this problem. I've also installed LatencyMon to try and track any DPC latency spikes and after leaving it for 15 minutes or so, it only capped at around 700 latency, and usually was steady on 200 latency, so it doesn't seem like its a latency issue. This started happening after I formatted onto windows 10 from windows 7, as this was not an issue when I was running my computer on windows 7. Any suggestions to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

 

Audio Pop/Stutter/Crackle When Stopping Audio


I've been having this issue for the past two days, and I've tried everything to no avail.
Basically this is the issue:
I get a pop/crackle when I suddenly stop audio.
What I'm running:

• Schiit Uber Stack.
• Win 10 PC.

What I've tried:

• Tried onboard audio, still get the problem.
• Tried onboard audio on both my PC and laptop, still get the problem.
• Tried my stack on both PC and laptop, still get the problem.
• Tried using a DPC latency checker, everything seems fine there.
• Tried different headphones just in case, wasn't the issue.
• Tried changing audio format, still get the problem.
• +literally tried 99 other things *Tongue

That pop is happening when I suddenly stop the sound effect. I get that pop when a Windows notification shows up. My friend's voice on Discord also pops every couple of seconds (100% sure it's not his mic).
Any help is appreciated!
(Just to clarify, I made sure it's not a hardware issue, so something within Win 10 is screwing with me)

I am sorry Matt but that is a step by step instruction. After you downloaded the file: wdm.zip and for simplicity, move it to desktop.

1. Point your mouse to wdm.zip then click with right mouse button
2. a menu popup, click on extract to wdm
3. Navigate to the folder where you can find the file: wdma_emu.inf
4. Point your mouse at the file then click with right mouse button again
5. a menu pop up, move your mouse to Install then click with the left mouse button.
