Upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 - Now Win 10 feels really slow and unresponsive compared with...

So after i updated to Win 10 (from win 7) i noticed that the win 10 system feels slower and i get tons of unresponsive app tasks, like opening the file explorer takes mostly 5-7 seconds (compared to less than 1 second in Win 7). During the first 3 hours i also noticed than many applications are opening slower than normal.

I have a way slower work computer (laptop) also running on windows 10 and that computer feels much faster than my desktop computer im working on now.

My specs: Intel i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz, 16gb ram, SSD harddrive

Anyone knows what going on here?

    Win 10 boots...

I can't answer to the speed of Win-8 booting. I tried the Win-8 preview and went back to Win-7 after a month. They say that Win-8.1 is a lot better than Win-8 was.
My Win-10 TP is working well ATM.

    Win.10 won't boot after installing Win.7

    Hi,

So i installed Win.10 via the UEFI and after installing Win.7 on Legacy Mode onto a different HDD i can't boot into Win.10 (I believe can only because Win.10 was installed via UEFI)

I tried installing the BCD Software but nope. I even tried to select my HDD but say Winload.exe error

Even tried going into the USB and try repairing but the same thing happens

is hardware OK (Win 7) for upgrade to windows 10

I think in one of the other PC with win 7 or win 8.1 I run media creators tools and in some step prompt/found graphics card not supported... for win 10. I didn't found alone reading specs of win 10, but
the tool says me... after changed graphics card the tool says all ok and continued ok... That I ask to reach this step in this current PC - win 7 - must be all ok for the upgrade? Or must continue to upgrade to show this?

    and got to point

    • UPGRADE this PC now
    • Create media(DVD, USB stick, ISO)

is hardware OK (Win 7) for an upgrade to windows 10 for this PC???
