Windows 10: Tomb raider 2 on steam isn't reading my ps4 controller and screen is small

i tried using dgvoodoo, but i was gettiing warning messages, when i play tomb raider 2 on my steam, the music doesn't go on and the controller doesn't work, the screen goes small, but i did copy the MS file to the root tomb raider 2 folder but i deleted it and then my screen is smaller, how do i fix this?

I purchased the new Tomb Raider game, and am unable to find an exe to add to steam in order for the Steam Controller to work. For that matter, Nvidia cannot find the exe either. Any suggestions?

 

Tomb Raider: Underworld on Steam fails since Creators update

I was playing "Tomb Raider: Underworld" on Steam since a few weeks when the "Creators Update" got installed. Since that moment, starting the game, a message box appears with that name and text:

Erreur Tomb Raider: Underworld

Ce jeu nécessite une carte graphique compatible DirectX9.0c.

Votre carte graphique ou vos pilotes ne sont pas compatible avec l'accélération 3D de DirectX9.0c.

Which to english translate to:

Error Tomb Raider: Underworld

This game requires a DirectX9.0c compatible graphics card.

Your graphics card or drivers are not compatible with DirectX9.0c 3D acceleration.

I uninstalled all Steam games and Steam client, reinstalled Steam and that game.

I use DriverBooster to keep my drivers up to date, after a few days, it found an update for my graphic card: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series.

I reinstalled DirectX 9 from the Tomb Raider installation files.

I run the "Check for file" option in steam.

I tried to run the game and the Steam client as an administrator.

Still the same error appears while Battle.Net and HearStone are working and another old game: King Quest 7 from GOG.com is working too !

I'm not sure it would help but can we go backward on the Creators Update installation ?

set up my unofficial playstation controller to steam

hi my windows 10 version is 1903, my steam always updates everytime i open it, but i don't know what the name of my controller is, but it worked fine with tomb raider 1 original version as it was using dosbox through steam, so i am pretty confused how
it isn't working with tomb raider 2 and 3, i wouldn't mind using my keyboard but its modifying the buttons and getting use to it but i prefer my controller, plus i connected my ps4 controller to it and worked great but the sound was cut off for some strange
