Windows 10: Minecraft Windows 10 cant join any servers other than "official servers"

Hi I I'm currently having an issue where i cant join any servers I've tried litterally everything and i still cant join any I've restarted my pc several times and also reinstalled minecraft I've truned off firewall and allowed minecrfat to bypass firewall I've wiped the windows stores cache and used trouble shooter and still cant join any servers any ideas? I think it may be that i'm running an older version as im running 1.14.105.0 but the store doesnt say theres any updates so idk

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Is this a public server your trying to join?

Is it a friend your trying to join?

I am running a Beta version of Minecraft Windows 10 edition (which is now Minecraft), and I can only see featured servers (Non of my friends play Minecraft), and I can't seem to see a list of other servers unless I use other sites and see if they are open.

If your entering the information in, such as server IP. Then you will need to ensure that the server address and information has been entered correctly. Otherwise it will not connect.

Can you post a screen shot of your start screen in Minecraft, please?

A while ago when i was setting a server for minecraft (stoped running it now thought) I noticed that in a server.properties list there was a white-list option, and was just curios.
