Windows 10: Owned games not showing up in library.

For some reason 80% of the games I own are not showing up in the Owned Section of My Library in the Microsoft Store. If the games were not installed I always had an option to reinstall them in this section of the store. About 2 days ago a game I was playing crashed. To fix the crashing problem I would usually unistall and reinstall the game I did this about 5 days ago so games not showing up in the owned section is a recent problem. When I went to the owned section I noticed the majority of the games I own are not available for reinstallation.


Does anyone know what is going on? I see that others are having trouble with the store as well, is this just part of that problem?

- Open the store, click on the elipses (3 dots) in the upper right corner

- Click on "settings"

- Scroll down and under account, click on "Manage your devices" (this will open the browser)

- Remove un-used devices from this list that shows up if you have 10 in there already.

Launch the Store

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the screen (...)

Click My Library

Scroll through the list then click the Forza Horizon 4 game if its listed there, then click the download button.

If doesn't help, let us know and we can explore more options.

Can you tell us what you're doing? Step by step? What program are you using? Like I say, if you're using VLC, any codecs you install won't help you at all since VLC doesn't actually look outside of its own libraries.

Just list the steps that you're taking.

 

FH4 not showing in game library

I have forza horizon 4 installed. I had to reset my pc and since then it does not appear in my xbox companion game library nor does it say manage or install in the store, it wants me to buy the game again, also does not show up in purchases.

But the game is sat there in my windows apps folder.

how can i get this to appear in my games library so i can launch the game.

I have tried resetting windows store and signing in out etc...
