Windows 10: Internet explorer is running in background continuously in window 10

14 jan 2020 After the time was over, I install window 10 in my computer,

I only use edge and chrome for my favourite browsers And I never used internet Explorer since 3 years



But today why is it running in the background and and consuming so much resources 50% of my processor, 40% of my RAM, and so much INTERNET from my limited data pack why? Why?

pc was running smoothly when it did not happen My computer hangs and fridges frequently now, also I thought it would be updating something. Will stop for a while but it didn't,
It has eaten 1.5 GB data from my limited data pack also i Was measured it Tell me which browsers update is 1GB?

It started When I went into Settings and Troubleshoot window update Because there was a problem with my window update.

My settings and What have i done so far:

1 You must be thinking it but I do not manipulate the new window 10 group policy, registries , never

2 always download from Microsoft store now, never from the malware website in window 10 because it's my new desktop,

3 I am aware of them, using metered connection settings in WiFi and window update

4 I have tried many times to kill the task from task manager But it automatically starts after sometimes

6 i restarted system many times not work

devicespecifications :

processor : intel core 2 duo

RAM: 4 GB

64 bit

Please give me a better suggestion.

Otherwise I have no choice , Will have to do reset and restore

Microsoft Internet Explorer renamed to Windows Internet Explorer ?




Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).

 

Internet Explorer running in background?

Now & again I run CCleaner & as usual it comes up with a list of Temporary files, Chrome cookies & cache, Windows log files etc to be cleaned.
However, it also lists Internet Explorer cookies & temporary internet files.
Why is this this since I never use Internet Explorer or indeed Edge?
