Windows 10: Transfering win 10 license to new computer

Hello!
So I felt it was about time to build a new gaming rig as my current one has passed 9 years already and has seen better days. And for my final touch, I want to transfer my win 10 license if possible to my new computer. I've looked around the webs and I understand that the OEM version doesn't allow you to transfer license to another computer. So I did a little check-up and found out I have the retail-version. But even though, I'm still a bit skeptic, I don't want to mess anything up. Could anyone clarify if this version IS transferable? I feel a bit dumb asking this, but hey.. Better safe than sorry.

Transfer Win 10 license to a new PC

I bought a new PC and read that I can transfer my Windows 10 license to it and I have a few questions.

Few years ago I used Win 7 Pro license to install my two PC's.

When FREE update came I upgraded both of them to Windows 10 x64 PRO.

Yesterday I assembled a new PC which will replace one of them and I want to transfer the license to it from the one it is replacing.

The question is if I transfer the activation license will I lose the activation on the second PC or not?

If its the free upgrade originated from an OEM Windows 7 or Windows 8 preinstalled license, it is still not transferrable, even though it says its retail in the command line using slmgr.vbs /dlv command.

Only licenses upgraded from a retail Windows 8 or Windows 7 or full Windows 10 license.

i bought the license. My laptop was originally loaded with win 7 and was upgraded free couple of months.

in this case, if i understand you correctly, i can transfer with below steps. Right.?

and to my question do you have an update.

does OS upgrades if my activation key is changed.
