    AMD Catalyst Software Suite


    I am being Requested to update this product, is it part of windows 10 ? Is it a driver that Windows 10 already has in it, or something that needs to be added for computer to work. I looked through replies but see no answers!

    I keep being prompted to update the latest version of the AMD Catalyst Software Suite. Is it O.K. to update ?

    AMD Catalyst Software Suite (Software Update)


    My AMD Catalyst Software Suite has a Software Update on my Laptop. The problem is, every time I try to install it, it says everything installed. I then head back to see what version I have, and its the same one as before. If I click on the software to install it again, it says the same thing and doesn't install the latest software.

    Hi Michael,

    You may have installed an outdated version of your hardware's driver
    (AMD Catalyst) which caused the software to download updates. It is recommended to
    always check and install the latest version of your drivers to improve your system's performance.

    To update your drivers manually, please follow the steps below:

    • Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Security, and then, under System,
      clicking Device Manager. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    • In the list of hardware categories, find the device that you want to update, and then double-click the device name.
    • Click the Driver tab, click Update Driver, and then follow the instructions. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
