how do I stop random font size changes in windows 10 explorer title bars on smartbook

every so often on starting up the smart book, when I open Explorer the title bars test is very small. I'm using a docking station with dual monitors, usually only one is affected Using the Setting advanced does NOT change it. I have to restart the smart book. Less often it changes the orientation of one of the monitors to rotated 90 degrees. How can this be stopped?

    :)

Title Bar: Font & Font Size Change

I am attempting to find out how to change the Font and the Font Size of Title Bars after the Windows 10 update in November 2018.

I need it to be at least a Century Gothic Size 16 Bold would be the best option for me. The update stopped me from being able to change it.

If there isn't a way in settings to do it. Could you direct me to a program that can do it?

    • Click Appearance and Personalization and under Display, click
Make text other items larger or smaller.

How to change window title bar size in Windows 10

For Windows 10 b1607 the height of a window title bar will be adjusted accordingly to the size of the title bar font. For a (dpi) display setting of 100% the following values are valid at the moment:

    • title bar font size 9px (windows default setting): title bar height 30px
    • title bar font size 7px: title bar height 26px

It is not necessary to adjust the value "CaptionHeight" in the Windows registry anymore as proposed in several other answers because this value is adjusted by windows automatically now when the title bar font size is changed.

The title bar font can be changed here:

    • control panel > display settings
    • or: Windows settings > system > advanced display settings > change the size of text and other elements
