Windows 10: VS 2019 Convert Text to Hex Number

I need to convert the data in the Text box into HEX number and send it through serial port.

Here is the code to send though Serial Port that I am using.

port.WritetextBox1.Text;

If I enter 1000 in the text box, I see in the serial terminal program HEX values 31 30 30 30. Which is correct.

This data will be read by the micro-controller.

I need to convert this number into Hex format and send only 2 bytes 03 E8.

Please help. Thank you.

Nokia 5000 deleted memory file needs converting from hex to text

Hi all this is my first post. Alot of people have said its impossible to access the internal memory and certain system files within the nokia 5000 handset but i have managed it with a usb cable. I also viewed ram files within the phone such as deleted videos,
pics and deleted texts. I done this to extract deleted texts where i previously had information in, The only problem is i have no idea how to convert these texts back to the phone but i have saved them and on my pc and they need converting back to text from
Hex asni. I have no idea to convert it and online converters are not working. Does anyone have any expierence on this issue?



If anyone knows how to restore these files can you please contact me? The file types are .dat and .lat

The field shows as text 10/11/1985. How can I convert it to number?

The reason for the conversion was to put a long column of text dates, like 03/10/1998 in chronological order.

After much searching, I found this gem on my hard drive. It works for OpenOffice Calc so it may work for Excel.

If you want to apply a numerical format to a column of numbers in text format (for example, text "000123" becomes number "123"), do the following:

1. Select the column in which the digits are found in text format. Set the cell format in that column as "Number".
   
2. Choose Edit - Find & Replace
   
3. In the Search for box, enter ^[0-9]
   
4. In the Replace with box, enter &
   
5. Check Regular expressions
   
6. Check Current selection only
   
7. Click Replace All
