    Recently upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Both the “Snipping Tool” and the “Snip & Sketch” appear to copy but WILL NOT paste what is copied. Instead it will past miscellaneous Icons and information from what looks like my Outlook Email, word template etc. What is the fix? Snipping Tool “Snip It” worked fine in Windows 7 but not since the upgrade to Windows 10. I'm using Office 2013. For exampIe: I Snip it and copy and paste a ICON from my Desk Top or infor from a word document and all that is pasted is the template ruler from word and the actual copy targeted is missing. I Snip copied a ICON from my desktop....the ICON was missing from the paste and the template ruler from MS Word was displayed instead.

    Windows 10 Snipping Tool on Windows 7

    All it is is one extra step beyond what is native to windows 10. Yes, technically it would be easier to have the functionality of print built in to the Windows 7 version, but you just have to save it ,and right click on it ,and print.

    As far as getting the windows 10 version into windows7. I know there was a way to get the old winpaint, so maybe there's a way to get the snipping tool into 10, I don't know.

    im curious if i could compress, and upload the application to this post? 7zip doesnt seem to be allowed
