Windows 10: Bought Windows key off eBay, turns out it is a Volume key

Hello, I just purchased a Windows 10 Pro license off eBay thinking it was going to be an OEM key. It turns out it was a Volume key. Should I stop using this key? What do you think I should do about this? I bought it using PayPal.

Turning Regular Keys Into Media Keys?

I met someone who had a mechanical keyboard, I loved it so much I went out and bought one myself. I'm using it now, and the only drawback I can think of is that it doesn't have any media keys at all, just your basic 105 or whatever the number is. I bought the Das Keyboard, this one in particular.

Is there some way of turning a couple of keys into media keys? Maybe like scroll lock or something I hardly ever touch. I just need Next Track, Previous Track, and volume up, volume down would be nice as well. What would be the best way to accomplish this?

 

Keyboard Volume Keys not working while in-game

I happen to have used the Tt Challenger Pro keyboard in the past, and the volume keys worked flawlessly in every game, so it's indeed a weird problem. I would suggest the same thing sneekypeet suggested, using the keyboard software and assign this function to a hotkey, but you said that didn't work either, so yeah...

Hi there, thanks for the information Greg! I've done this installation process many times I was just wondering if the key will be able to activate normal Windows 10 Home since the only apparent difference in the N version is the absence of media playback
applications.

I thought I might as well try my luck with the dodgy key on eBay, chances are it won't work, you're right. But I figure eBay's customer protection will help me out if so, and if not then I paid with PayPal, and they have always helped me in the past. Also
a friend told me that he had bought a key from eBay in the past and it worked fine.
