Windows 10: Windows 10 - Blinking randomly and flipping apps to different monitor

I've had this problem which started about September last year - I think after a Windows update. It's intermittent and I can't seem to pinpoint the cause.


I created this short 24 second video of the blinking happening on 2 of my monitors - the laptop monitor and the external LG monitor which is connected by VGA. I have another 3rd monitor which is connected by a HDMI ->mini displayport cable adapter.


I've tried every conceivable configuration:

- with/without the KVM switch

- VGA on 3rd monitor to mini displayport


This doesn't seem to affect the Windows 7 system. Everything was working fine for over a year. Something changed and I'm beside myself trying to correct the problem.


Any ideas? I'd be so grateful.

Monitor screen blinking.

I suggest you to update the display drivers and check.

Method 2: Update drivers.

I suggest you to update graphic drivers and check if it helps. Follow the steps given below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device manager.
• Search for Display Adapters.
• Right-click on the graphics
  card and click on Update driver software.

You may also download the drivers from the manufacture’s website and check.

Camera flips

SLI with different cards

I'm new to this but getting a different issue on the install, did all the steps and getting blank cmd window with blinking curser. Windows 10,, just installed the latest driver for nvidia today,, Dell T5500 with 2 GTX 670 FTW's with Nvidia Sli bridge
