    My Laptop Keeps Freezing then Crash


    When I got my laptop which was like 2-4 months ago, it was running smoothly until this week that it started getting weak.Constant freezing followed by a crash. I was quite scared and nervous, finding a way why it is constantly crashing. I looked up on bing then it led me to download CrystalDiskInfo. There was no problems whatsoever. I tried Task Manager then I waited for like 5 mins. Then, when the time came,I saw the disk running at peak 100% with jumps 0 to 54-62% jumps before it happened. I realized that the culprit was the disk. What should I do?

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    all games crash!

    ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.

    Firefox 3.6.4 keeps crashing for me

    Just updated my laptop with firefox 3.6 and now my laptop is crashing.

    My desktop is fine.... WTF is wrong?

    Every time I click on firefox, my laptop would freeze, go black and reboot.

    I don't want to unintall firefox now because of all my bookmarks and crap.

    AND I can't get to them to "export" or make a backup of the bookmarks because firefox keeps on crashing and freezing my laptop when I try to open in.

    What should I do?
