Windows 10: Microsoft Store window opens on startup

Discus and support Microsoft Store window opens on startup in Microsoft Windows 10 Store to solve the problem; just started happening recently. On startup, a window related to MS Store opens..     Microsoft Store window opens on startup


    just started happening recently. On startup, a window related to MS Store opens.. It may be promoting a game, or even simply show the store icon. This does not happen on every startup. Seems to be random instead. Windows version 1903 OS Build 18362.592 64-bit Here is a screenshot of the window that appears on my desktop. This is happening on more than one of my machines.

    Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

    I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?

    Microsoft Store wont open

    i did these steps. and Windows Store Service isn't showing up on the list at all

    Hi Bryan,

    Let's verify if the Windows Store Service is enabled on your computer as this could be one of the reasons why it won't start. To check, follow the steps below:

    • In the Search window, type in Services.
    • When Services (Desktop app) appears, click it.
    • Locate Windows Store Service, right-click it, then click Properties.
    • Under Startup type, click Start if it shows Stopped.

    Once done, try opening the Windows Store again. If it still won't open, then double check if you are logged in on your computer using your Microsoft account.
