Windows 10: Windows 10 pro to Windows 10 home.. Digital Licensing good for home, not pro, and cannot...

I have tried everything.. I reset the PC and cannot get an option to go back to windows 10 home. I see that my version cannot be activated due to the fact that I am running Windows 10 pro, and the computer troubleshooter says it found a digital license good for Windows 10 home. I cannot get the option to go back to windows 10 Home using the media creation tool. Every time I run it, and it downloads for hours, it just says thank you for upgrading. I never see an option on which version to install.. How do I make windows run Windows 10 home where my digital license is good, and I can get off pro where my features are being limited due to no product key.

I have followed the steps to install the media creation tool on this PC, and ran it the way where you install it on another PC.

Prior to running the troubleshooter I get the error code and message saying this:

"Windows reported no product key was found on your device. Error code 0xC004F213"

After the troubleshooter is run I get the error code and message saying this:

"Windows located a digital license for Windows 10 Home for this device that is currently running Windows 10 pro. Please install Windows 10 Home edition."


I followed all the prompts to do so and get no where, as well as tried to read the forum and questions other people had ,and I need a dummy proof way of fixing this, and someone patient enough to explain it step by step and walk me through it because I am missing a step somewhere and need some help asap.

Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.

Which is good news actually, because Windows 8.1 is loads cheaper than previous versions (retail licensing at Windows 7 OEM prices). And it sort of puts a huge hole in the Windows subscription theory.

I need to change my motherboard, have windows 10 pro. When i google how to it says go to activation then add an account, my issue is there is no add an account option under activation? Or am I in the wrong window?



Not sure how to proceed, ive googled it and the same results. Do I have an OEM or? On the disk sleave it says OEI DVD?
