Windows 10: REALLY SLOW INTERNET

My internet is fast. 125 MB download, about 20 MB Upload.

However, I had a weird issue recently. I came back home after a walk, where I had left my PC on (It was only about forty minutes away) and I come back to find my internet not working anymore? When it was working previous?

So I update my PC as there was an update. Got back on. No internet. I troubleshooted, and that fixed it. For the moment. Eventually I went to browsing the internet, and turned on my VPN. After I was finished, I turned it off to play a multiplayer game. But oh. No internet access? Despite it working a few seconds ago? I go to my Adapter Settings, to find my Ethernet was disabled. And it refused to enable when I tried.

So I do a full network reset. All seems fine until... I actually try to use the internet. It is SLOW. We're talking a minute to load pages. I troubleshooted again, and got:

windows could not automatically detect this network's proxy settings slow internet



Did everything every website said (When they loaded) and nothing worked. So what unorthadox way is there to fix this? (My PC has no restore points. Takes too long)

Any ideas?

(Note: I play World of Warcraft, and I keep getting a disconnect issue when I attempt to login. I also have Twitch running in Chrome in the background, the stream plays, but the chat is stuck with "Connecting to Chat." FeelsBadMan.)

WIN10 internet SLOW!!!!!!!

• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• Have you tried connecting to some other Internet connection and check if the same issue occurs?

We suggest you to connect your system to some other network and check if the same slow Internet connection issue persists. If no then there must be issue with your Internet connection.

Really slow internet

Hi I was wondering if anyone has Virgin as their ISP because the moment it turns 6pm my internet goes from 20mb to 56k. I can't understand if it is virgin throttling the internet or just my end, although Virgin throttles it to keep it fair; they only cut the speed in half and 10mb is still ridiculously fast but I don't know why I'm getting bad speeds like that :shadedshu It also says in the terms and conditions that it will be throttled if you exceed the download limit but the problem is none of the pc's were on all day because I was out playing football *Smile So I can't have exceeded the download limit. Anyone got any suggestions.

 

E6 Really slow internet

I have tried this on 3 different Nokia E6 phones, on GPRS with 5bars, 3G with 5bars and at home over wifi...



All internet traffic is really slow, when on the browser downloading the SIS file for google maps, it took 5mins to download just 160k. Once i did get it installed, the Google Maps app take ages to load map tiles, and emails take about a minute to download
an email with just a few lines of text.



Whe using OVI store, pages load really slow. So all internet apps are slow. The phone overall is quick.



All this in an edge or 3G area with 5bars, and 3 phones do the exact same. all firmware ver 22.14

on o2 uk.



Same settings, area and sim card in my Nokia E71 and E72 are perfect.



any ideas or does anyone else have slow internet apps on E6 ?
