  1. How do I keep Windows from telling me multiple times a day to check my virus and security?

I recently installed Windows 10 and I get repeated messages telling me to check my antivirus and security pop-up on lower right screen. When I check it,

1 Windows firewall is enabled, which I want

2 McAfee antivirus is not running, but I am using Fprot which is enabled and running

3 I am also running Malwarebytes but this is apparently not recognized in the security menu

In any event, is there a way to get this to stop or, even better, warn me only when something I want to be operating, like the firewall, Fprot, or Malwarebytes, is not running?

    :)

  2. Win 10 slow down after upgrading F-Secure Anti-Virus

    Hi Tarik,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.

I would suggest you to uninstall F-secure from "programs and features" and reinstall it again and check if it helps.

    • Type programs and features in search and hit enter.
    • select the anti-virus from the list and click on uninstall.

In order to reinstall it again, download the F-secure from website and install it on your PC.

If doesn't help, I suggest you to uninstall F-secure permanently and use Windows defender to keep you system safe from malware and virus and check.

I hope this information helps. Please do let us know if you need any further assistance.

Windows 10 Crashing multiple times. Kernel Security Check error

I know this may be beating a dead horse but I'm getting this problem all the time. I'm crashing multiple times a day. The usual culprit is the Kernel security check error. I've tried responding in some of the other threads but no one has a fix for this
problem. I've updated all my drivers. The physical hardware checks out fine. Memtest ran 8 passes with no issues to report. If someone can't help I'm just going to dump windows 10 and go back to Windows 7.

Here is a link to my system and dump files. Microsoft OneDrive - Access files anywhere. Create docs with free Office Online.

It should contain all the required files for someone to help out.

    Thanks,

    Allan B.
