    I had to update Windows 7 to 10 last week and it's been lagging and freezing a lot in games, internet, moving files around...basically everything. There is also a strange delay in my sound, especially if no sound has played in a while. It's as if the sound driver has "gone to sleep" and needs a second to wake up and start playing again.

    I originally installed W10 onto this computer, had the problems, and then reinstalled W7 and everything was much better.

    Windows 10 Constantly Freezes

    Windows 10 on PC constantly freezes. I called support with no help. It freezes every 2-3 minutes. This is unacceptable and I don't know what to do. The Windows rep suggest that I could go back to Windows 8. I've had 10 for almost two months and I would
    like to keep it; I just want it to stop freezing my PC. I have tried the various suggestions given to no avail, this is a Windows 10 problem. PLEASE HELP

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
