  1. Kernel-power 63 crash without dump or bsod

    Hey,

I've been experiencing system instability for about 6 months now, Problems began after I did a clean install of windows abou 6 months ago.
Problem description is as follows: During normal operation screens flash once, system goes unresponsive and mouse cursor transforms into glitchy lines, after a few seconds sound goes into a loop that sounds like a lawnmower and system restarts without BSOD nor have I found a dump file. The problem doesn't seem to happen in any particular usecase and system can go for weeks without crashing and some days I get multiple crashes per day.

After restarting eventviewer shows basicly only Kernel-Power 63 and states that the system has been reset incorrectly.

this is the information from I got out from that:

    Kernel power 41 (63)

For the past month or so my computer has been crashing randomly multiple times during the day, I checked the event logs and found that the error was "kernel power 41 (63). I've tried replacing my power supply, getting a better power supply, reinstalling
windows, removing drivers, booting in safe mode, unplugging and plugging back all of the cords in my computer, memory tests, GPU/CPU stress tests, and yet still I've made no progress whatsoever. There's also no dump files or any information on what caused
the crash, not even during the one BSOD I had with the same error code. This is really bugging me as I've spent over $800 on this system only to have it be useless to me. Please help.

Power Kernel 41 Error, During Gaming, Possibly Software?

    Hi storm shadow,

    There are 3 different crashes
    1. A freeze crash
    2. A sudden shutdown/restart crash
    3. A bluescreen crash

A memory dump will only be created when a bluescreen crash occurs.
A kernel event id 41 only means an unexpected power problem has occured what happens with both a shutdown/restart and bluescreen crashes.

I would suggest to check the connection of the components and make sure everything is connected properly to start with.
