Windows 10: Repeated BSOD: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck Event ID: 1001

Hello there,

I am running a laptop DELL XPS core i7 7700HQ with 16 GB ram , Samsung SSD Evo 970 Pro, Nvidia 1050, suddenly stop responding for a few seconds then suddenly restarted. These errors are very recurrent and my laptop is becoming useless.

BSOD error is stopcode WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR


To try to solve this issue, I have upgraded the BIOS, reset the BIOS with factory settings and performed a clean install using Dell OS recovery tool, then reinstalled all the drivers using dell update assistant. After that I ran several tools to detect hardware, RAM or CPU failure, all passed OK. I have not tuned my machine, no overclocking, undervolting, all set with factory settings.

I would need assistance to understand if this is a hardware failure or a configuration issue that can be fixed.

EVENT 1001 - BugCheck - The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.

Lately my computer has been restarting out of nowhere at random times, doesn't show a BSOD it just black screens and restarts.

This is the error that shows on eventviewer:

and the critical error is:

Event 41, Kernel-Power

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

The two instances I remember it crashing was when playing a game and when downloading a file.

Haven't made any changes into hardware/software lately.

Windows 10 bugcheck every few hours with event id 1001

Unfortunately, I have now had a further two bugcheck reboots with event id 1001.

The event text is:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009c (0x0000000000000000, 0xffffd0006a879760, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 092615-4281-01.

On both occasions I was running VMWare Workstation 12.

Please can someone with the necessary tools inspect the MEMORY.DMP to find out what is going on?
