  1. Some shortcut icons on home screen appear farther away after adjusting screen resolution

I recently adjusted my screen resolution after updating some BIOs utilities and it has altered the appearance of a few shortcut icons, as they now appear in the same sized square but the actual icon picture appears farther away, as seen here:

    Can anyone help me fix?

    :)

    Increasing mirrored screen resolution

    Hi Sam,

To further assist you, we would like to know what is the make and model of your HD TV? We also suggest that you check if there's an option to change the resolution through your TV.

You can also follow these steps on how to adjust screen resolution through Control Panel:

    • Open Control Panel, under Appearance and Personalization, click
      Adjust screen resolution.
    • Click the name of your HD TV, then click the drop down for Resolution.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

  3. Screen Resolution Stretched

One evening my monitor went black and came back up immediately but the screen was stretched and icons large. I was able to adjust the icons but the screen was stretched. None of the screen resolution options have any affect on correcting the problem. Looking
    for suggestions, thank you.
