    Hello Community,

    I am having here a little problem with something that a recent windows update has changed.
    For over 10 years now I am having my Taskbar set up in a certain way and I am really really used to having it that way.

    As seen in the picture below, which shows several of my Taskbars from 2010 - 2020.
    I am using a bottom Taskbar which is 3 Rows high so that it shows on the right side the full Time, Day & Date.
    The Taskbar itself is split into 3 Areas
    1. a 2 Rows high Area for the Tasks in the upper right corner,
    2. a 2 Rows high Area for the QuickLaunchBar on the upper left corner and
    3. a 1 Long Row for the AddressBar below.
    Between the Taskbar and the Full Time/date is the 3x3 - 3x4 - 3x5 Tray Icons grid.

    But now since the last Windows update, the AddressBar is now suddenly 2 Rows high forcing the tasks and the QuickLaunchBar into being only 1 Row high.

    The Last Taskbar shows my current workaround for that problem I replaced the AddressBar with the Tasks
    but I am here hoping that someone has some way to reduce the Hight of the AddressBar so that I can switch back to how it used to look before this update.

    Font size in my favorites list and in web address box

    All of a sudden the font size in IE 11 changed to smallest in my favorites list and in the web address box at the top. I have tried everything to change the font size and nothing is working. Any ideas?

    Search box on taskbar missing.

    Hi John,

    This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

    To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

    • Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
    • Select Show search box.

    Feel free to post back if you have other concerns.
