Windows 10: Intolerable situation with Sculpt comfort mouse disconnecting constantly

HOW DO I GET SUPPORT FROM MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT DIRECTLY?? THIS PROBLEM HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR 3 YEARS.


I have 2 of these mice and have had continual problems on 3 different PCs.BECAUSE MORE THAN ONE PC AND MORE THAN ONE MOUSE IS AFFECTED, THIS MUST BE A DESIGN FLAW WITH EITHER THE MOUSE HARDWARE OR DRIVER. The mouse disconnects during use at seemingly random intervals. This can happenhundreds of times a day.

1. Turning the mouse off and on has no effect.
2. Turning bluetooth on and off has no effect.
3. Disabling power management for the mouse has no effect.
4. In the past I've managed the problem by sleeping the PC and when it wakes, the mouse starts working again. However doing thishundreds of times a day is extremely time consuming.
5. I recently discovered that if I launch the Mouse and Keyboard center app, connection is reestablished. However, leaving the app running does not solve the problem either. The mouse will still disconnect and the app has to be restarted to fix the connection.
6. A solutions has been suggested see link below that involves rolling back the bluetooth driver so that the 'Microsoft Generic bluetooth driver' replaces whatever is currently there but, a I can't roll back the driver, the option is greyed out and b I can't find a MS Generic bluetooth driver on the web.

Sculpt comfort mouse windows 10 gestures

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in accessing Sculpt Comfort Mouse on Windows 10.

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted/ outdated drivers, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to uninstall the mouse drivers.

• Right click on Windows key,
  select Device Manager.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
• Right click on each of the drivers and click on
  Uninstall.

Step 2: Manually install the mouse drivers from the link below.

Microsoft Bluetooth Sculpt Comfort mouse Windows 10

I understand the inconvenience you are facing. Let me help you in resolving the issue.

I suggest you to install the Sculpt comfort mouse drivers in Compatibility Mode and check if it helps.

Please refer the below link to install the drivers in compatibility mode,

Sculpt Comfort Mouse | Microsoft

Follow the steps to install in Compatibility mode.

• Download the driver from the website.
• Right click the driver installation file and select Properties then tap or click the
  Compatibility tab.
• Place a check in the Run this program in compatibility mode for: box.
  
• Tap or click the drop down box and select a previous operating system, then tap or click
  OK.
• Try installing the driver and check.

Microsoft wireless display will be disconnected when connect with Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse(bluetooth mouse)

Hello,

When I connect my windows 10 laptop with Microsoft wireless display adapter V2
, mirror my PC's screen , everything goes fine.

But when I turn on my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse and connect with my laptop , after 2 - 3 minutes screen mirroring , wireless display will be disconnected, or wifi icon on the taskbar will show red X or become restricted .

My laptop works just fine only connect with Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse.

the Driver of Display adapters and Wireless Network adapter is up to date.

Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse and Microsoft Sculpt Comfort Mouse was removed and then reconnected.

Could anyone tell me how to solve the problem ?
