Windows 10: Microsoft app Store Registration Missing or Corrupt

As an Insider, my Windows calculator had not changed to the 'graphic' version, so I 'uninstalled' it with a view to reinstalling. I then found my Windows App Store had disapperared entirely; moreover, I could no longer install ANY Microsoft apps at all!


I followed all the advice given for 'updates', 'wsreset', and 'troubleshooting'. Using troubleshooting I got a panel that said 'service registration' missing or corrupt. Looking at the apps in Powershell replacing cmd? I found I have two entries for: Microsoft.Services.Store.engagement_10.0.19011.0_x64


The other entry is the same, except this time, instead of: x64, it says: X86! Am I on the right track? I attach a copy of my Powershell panel.

• Which troubleshooting steps you are referring to?
• Have you installed all pending Windows updates?
• This issue persists in Local account or Microsoft account?

Please be informed to use Windows Store and other apps on Windows 10 you have to log in to
Microsoft Account. So if you are not logged in with Microsoft account then log in to Microsoft account and check. Also install all pending
Windows updates in your PC. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for Updates. If you have any pending updates remaining to install, kindly install
them and check if it helps.

I have upgraded to windows 10 successfully from windows 7, no problem acquired during upgrade. I can also sign in to my microsoft account.The problem is i can't open windows app store, when i open store it shows "the server stumbled" error code 0*80072efd,
i tried troubleshooting and results "service registration is missing or corrupt".Please give me a solution....

I am new to computers and things so please if your going to help me fix this would you do a step by step type guide for me through it much appreciated. I have a windows surface rt 8,1 and to be honest I haven't had a good time using it to
enjoy any of it . it wont download anything even from the store an that doesn't work on it also when updating theres always errors , and now its saying the service registration is missing or corrupt how can I fix this .
