Windows 10: The pen for my One by Wacom CTL-472 Pen tablet has stopped working?

In August 2019 I bought a One by Wacom tablet. I have windows 10, for a while the tablet worked perfectly.

Windows updated and now the Pen no longer moves the cursor at all.

When the tablet is connected to computer the light on the tablet comes on.

On the Wacom Desktop center it recognises that the tablet is connected.

I have tried the following to fix this issue:

Previous driver versions for the tablet from the Wacom website.

The latest driver version for the tablet from the Wacom website..

Reverted Windows 10 updates.

Tried the latest of Windows 10 updates.

Changed the Pen nib.

Tried a brand new pen.

Taken out the Nib from the pen for a day and left it rest.

Reconnect the Wacom tablet with Windows 10.

Turned off Windows Ink in the Wacom Tablet Properties.

Restarted Wacom services.

Tried different USB cables for the Wacom table.

Restarted the PC multiple times.


Does know what the problem is and how to fix it as I miss being about to use my tablet.

Wacom Pen is not working

Dear Lord,

Following your advice, I downloaded the driver and installed it successfully.

However, it did not change the malfunction of the Wacom Pen. Upon close examination, a ISO_DualTouch_720-10.exe was installed. When launched Wacom Pen program, it did not work at all - it worked before to show a configuration UI (the configuration might
not be right for my pen since the pen was not working). It popped up a error message saying "The tablet driver is not running.". Under the Device Manager, the Wacom Device in HID showed Wacom 3.1.0.5 of 11/04/2014 (Digital Signer: Microsoft Windows Hardware
Compatibility Publisher) driver installed. It looks it is the driver that was installed by Windows when upgraded to Windows 10.

Didn't I do something after the installation? Or this driver is not suitable for my hardware?

 

Wacom Tablet/Pen Issues

Every time Windows 10 mandates a new update, I have new issues, and the old ones I fix tend to get undone - Which is annoying to say the least.

I've looked through numerous forums on here, but have not found what I was looking for. For the past few months I've been dealing, but it's getting to the point where frustration and annoyance with both of these products is at an all time high.

We use Wacom Intuos 4 Pro tablets with Pens, since this latest windows 10 update, my Wacom pen will stop clicking on things even though I can still move the cursor freely. Even opening Explorer or an any program from my desktop is unresponsive, and it won't
correct it self sometimes for several minutes. Highlighting text in any internet browser is not possible with the pen - which seems to be a fairly common practice.

This appears to be an escalation of a problem. I know there are known issues between Chrome and Windows 10, but I've tried Edge and Firefox and nothing seems to be better. I do believe its a Wacom issue with Windows 10, but can't seem to find an answer.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling drivers as well as updating those drivers. I've tried new pens and a new tablet on my computer , but still nothing seems to be working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wacom tablet and disappeared pen settings

Trying to fix Wacom Bamboo tablet not working as pen tablet but just as a mouse (a problem that costs me a day of work and losing a client), I've discovered I don't have Pen settings at all. I reinstalled the Bamboo drivers, and Device manager confirms the
drivers updated - but still, the Bamboo tablet results to be a mouse and the pen doesn't work.

How can I fix it?
