Windows 10: NO SOUND IN MAIL NOTIFICATION

I believe that I have every setting checked in the proper places in Settings. I do receive a banner from the Notification Center, but no sound. I have a sound set up in Sound Control Panel>Sounds in both "Desktop Mail Notification" and "New Mail Notification" and both sounds work when hitting the TEST button. I have read various fixes online, and one mentions enabling all of your mail accounts, but I do not see that option within settings. I use only G-Mail, if that has any bearing. Any advice is appreciated. Jeff

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

1. Go to your Desktop.

• Press Windows
  
  +
  D keys to go to your desktop.

2. Right click on the sound icon in the taskbar system icons area at the far right.

3. Right Click/tap on "Sounds".

4. Scroll down and click/tap on the Desktop Mail Notification"

5. Click/tap on the drop down arrow menu and select sound you like.

6. Scroll down and click/tap on New Mail Notification".

7. Click/tap on the drop down arrow menu and select sound you like.

8. Now click on "Apply".

Windows 10 Sound Notification for Live Mail

I suggest you to check if the Windows Live Mail is added in the “show notification for these app” list on your Windows 10 computer. You may find “show notification for these app” list in the settings for notification.
